
Expeditions Recruiter – Pacific Northwest

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +21 more locations.
• Design, implement, and carry out recruitment strategies to boost awareness and interest in NOLS expeditions.
• Act as a representative for NOLS at both in-person and virtual recruitment events.
• Build and nurture partnerships with educational institutions and organizations.
• Produce qualified leads for the Admissions Counselor team to guide towards enrollment.
• Travel to schools, colleges, conferences, outdoor events, college fairs, high school visits, gap-year expos, and partner events.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing teams to understand NOLS’ mission, expedition offerings, financial aid opportunities, and core messaging.
• Utilize Google Workspace and HubSpot CRM to document, track, and assess prospective student leads.
• Work together with the Director of Strategic Enrollment to evaluate priority regions, organize annual travel logistics and budgets, and establish KPI targets.
• Anticipate traveling approximately 60–70% during peak seasons.
• Report directly to the Director of Strategic Enrollment.
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities and comfort in engaging diverse audiences in both large and small settings.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to independently manage complex travel schedules and event coordination.
• Proficient in identifying, nurturing, and sustaining professional relationships with key influencers, educators, advisors, and outdoor education leaders.
• Proficiency or comfort in using Google Workspace and CRM systems, with a preference for HubSpot.
• Ability to work autonomously while on the road, collaborating with a remote team.
• A profound passion for and understanding of wilderness education, experiential learning, or the NOLS mission.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to travel extensively for extended periods.
• Experience in college admissions, outreach, or community engagement is preferred.
• Preference for NOLS graduates or those with experience in outdoor, experiential, or gap-year education.
• Spanish language proficiency or fluency is preferred.
• A criminal background check is required.
