This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +21 more locations.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and carry out recruitment strategies to enhance visibility and interest in NOLS expeditions.

• Represent NOLS at both in-person and virtual recruitment events.

• Develop partnerships with educational institutions and organizations.

• Generate qualified leads for the Admissions Counselor team to guide toward enrollment.

• Act as the public face of NOLS in communities nationwide.

• Travel to schools, colleges, conferences, and outdoor events.

• Create enthusiasm and foster relationships that encourage future enrollment.

• Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing teams to understand NOLS' mission, expedition offerings, financial aid options, and core messaging.

• Utilize Google Workspace and HubSpot CRM to document, track, and assess prospective student leads.

• Review priority areas and organize annual travel plans, budgets, and KPI targets in conjunction with the Director of Strategic Enrollment.

• Conduct seasonal recruitment travel, estimated at 60–70% during peak seasons.

• Participate in college fairs, high school visits, gap-year expos, and partner events.


⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and comfort in engaging diverse audiences in both large and small settings.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage intricate travel schedules and event coordination independently.

• Capacity to identify, nurture, and sustain professional relationships with key influencers, educators, advisors, and leaders in outdoor education.

• Proficiency or comfort with Google Workspace and CRM systems, with a preference for HubSpot.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a remote team.

• Passion for and understanding of wilderness education, experiential learning, or the NOLS mission.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Willingness to travel extensively for prolonged periods.

• Spanish language proficiency or fluency is preferred.

• Previous experience in college admissions, outreach, or community engagement is preferred.

• NOLS graduate or experience in outdoor, experiential, or gap-year education is preferred.

• Ability to submit a single PDF that includes both a resume and a cover letter.

• A criminal background check is required.
