Exercise Physiologist, Kinesiologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Provide tailored virtual exercise therapy programs for patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.

• Conduct virtual assessments for fitness or wellness.

• Create personalized fitness or wellness plans aligned with patient objectives and clinical guidelines.

• Track patient progress, modify programs as necessary, and offer education and encouragement.

• Collaborate online with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

• Ensure precise and timely clinical documentation that complies with regulatory and privacy standards.

• Assist in the ongoing enhancement of clinical protocols and the digital platform.

• Keep updated on the latest practices in MSK care and telehealth delivery.

• Engage and support patients as a vital member of the care team.

• Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or a related discipline.

• Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP), Registered Kinesiologist, CSCS, or an equivalent certification.

• Experience in MSK rehabilitation, injury prevention, or chronic pain management.

• Excellent communication abilities with a focus on client-centered and empathetic interactions.

• Proficient in utilizing digital health platforms, video conferencing, and clinical software.

• Capable of working independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

• Prior experience in a virtual or startup healthcare environment is preferred.

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.

• Demonstrated competence and enthusiasm for digital care delivery or telehealth.

• Comfort in evaluating and treating patients remotely using digital tools.

• Experience in administering physical therapy techniques through digital platforms.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Critical thinking skills, adaptability, and the capability to devise innovative solutions.

• Authorized or able to provide necessary documentation to work in the United States.

• Access to high-speed internet with reliable bandwidth.

• A workspace that ensures patient privacy in a virtual environment, both visually and audibly.

• Ability to frequently stand, sit, communicate, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers for operating a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
