This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver travel services tailored for VIP and Executive business travelers.
• Organize domestic and international air travel, ground transportation, accommodations, rail, car services, seat assignments, and any other specified requests.
• Engage with clients to ascertain travel destinations, modes of transport, dates, budget considerations, lodging, and services required.
• Interpret client specifications and compile precise travel arrangements.
• Possess knowledge of international travel fares, pricing, resources, and necessary documentation.
• Oversee upgrades and loyalty programs, ensuring service delivery is executed as promised.
• Anticipate client requirements and implement accurate travel plans while addressing any unforeseen challenges.
• Calculate travel-service expenses utilizing GDS and other booking platforms.
• Conduct quality control on reservations prior to ticketing or further quality checks.
• Address customer service issues through leadership or vendor representatives, securing approval when necessary.
• Review, prioritize, summarize, and respond to communications and materials received.
• Relay itineraries, fare regulations, confirmation numbers, cancellation policies, upgrades, preferences, industry updates, travel guidelines, and any other essential information.
• Maintain reservations in a completed state and oversee queues and tasks throughout the workday.
• Confirm that team tasks are finalized or reassigned by the end of each shift.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements in collaboration with leadership.
• Collect customer payments in accordance with client and CTM policies.
• Stay informed by reading daily briefings and industry announcements.
• Engage in training opportunities for professional development.
• Retain a working knowledge of GDS and account-specific tools including CTM Advisor, Online Booking Tool, iQCX, Finisher, and Banx.
• Meet productivity targets consistently.
• Promote effective interdepartmental communication, team morale, and customer service excellence.
• Build relationships with executive administrators, executive travelers, and vendors.
• Be available to work outside of regular hours during special events or emergencies.
• Track executive travelers' flights using Preview, Flight Stats, or PNR Monitor.
• Arrange personal travel for executives, their family members, and companions.
• Organize small corporate group travel and negotiate special group rates.
• Conduct introductory meetings and interviews for executive traveler profiles and manage profile updates.
• Mentor new or less experienced Travel Consultants.
• Ensure regular and dependable attendance while performing other assigned duties.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of experience as a travel counselor specializing in corporate/business travel.
• Proficiency with Sabre GDS is essential.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic mathematical ability is required.
• Capability to read and interpret information and documents effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage simultaneous requests efficiently.
• Creative and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and consultative abilities.
• Remain composed under pressure; a proactive contributor who is eager to learn.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with technology and proficiency in PC usage.
• Proficient in GDS.
• Strong capability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of geography.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding business information.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Capability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions.
• Ability to solve problems involving multiple concrete variables in standard situations.
