This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for strategic partnership accounts by overseeing SEO-related projects, deliverables, performance metrics, and client requirements.
• Evaluate account performance and SEO activities, offering proactive strategic recommendations.
• Track deliverable timelines and follow up on overdue SEO tasks, audits, optimizations, or recommendations.
• Contribute insights, data, and recommendations related to SEO & GEO for client presentations and business review materials.
• Participate in client calls to deliver SEO updates, clarify performance trends, respond to inquiries, and resolve concerns.
• Identify at-risk accounts regarding SEO performance issues, missed opportunities, deliverable shortfalls, and strategic vulnerabilities.
• Analyze websites, rankings, traffic, conversions, local visibility, AI visibility, competitive positioning, and other SEO metrics.
• Suggest strategic modifications, additional services, upgraded SEO solutions, or more aggressive marketing strategies for at-risk and escalated clients.
• Collaborate with SEO operations teams on strategy modifications and performance-related initiatives.
• Aid retention efforts through performance analysis, identification of client pain points, and strategic recommendations.
• Support Sales by addressing SEO and GEO inquiries, explaining packages, drafting proposals, conducting prospect research, and making package-fit recommendations.
• Make strategic digital marketing suggestions based on client objectives, market opportunities, competition, and SEO best practices.
• Mentor and guide team members on SEO & GEO best practices, strategy development, client communication, and account management.
• Share trends in SEO, GEO, AI search, algorithms, local search, and internet marketing with pertinent teams.
• Assist with training, onboarding, quality reviews, and strategic guidance for SEO team members.
• May lead or coordinate a small team of strategists.
• Review existing SEO solutions and accounts to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Provide strategic feedback on SEO & GEO offerings, packages, workflows, reporting, and service delivery models.
• Support special projects related to partnerships, escalations, retention, sales enablement, internal training, or SEO & GEO innovation.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by management.
• Demonstrated experience in SEO strategy, SEO account management, digital marketing strategy, or a related SEO position.
• Strong grasp of local SEO, technical SEO, content strategy, performance marketing, conversion, GEO & AEO, and online customer acquisition.
• Preferred experience in supporting high-value, at-risk, escalated, partner, or multi-location client accounts.
• Capability to analyze SEO & GEO performance data and convert findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills, including the ability to convey complex SEO concepts in layman's terms.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities; capable of presenting insights clearly without excessive technical jargon.
• Solid business acumen, with the ability to align SEO strategy with client objectives, retention, revenue, and growth prospects.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Account Management, Product, Operations, and Marketing.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and fundamental technical SEO principles.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, RavenTools, or similar platforms.
• Experience with web analytics and reporting tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, TapClicks, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or a comparable CRM is preferred.
• Strong skills in time management, prioritization, and project management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• High adaptability to change and capability to operate effectively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including data analysis methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience.
• Regular and dependable attendance is essential.
• Must be capable of lifting at least 20 pounds.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Potential availability for overtime and weekend work if necessary.
• Some management roles may require occasional travel.
