This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Drive sales growth at the enterprise level through a global account strategy, strategic partnerships, and sustained client engagement.
• Lead business development initiatives globally across high-value accounts.
• Identify, assess, and pursue enterprise-level opportunities, preferred provider agreements, MSAs, and strategic alliances.
• Develop and sustain multi-year strategic growth plans for key global clients.
• Advise client executives by comprehending business priorities, development pipelines, and partnership expectations.
• Navigate complex global sourcing and procurement organizations to streamline contracting processes.
• Collaborate with therapeutic leads, operations, delivery, marketing, deal strategy, and other cross-functional teams to create solutions tailored to clients.
• Lead the creation of proposals, RFP responses, and executive presentations.
• Maintain precise records of accounts, contacts, opportunities, pipelines, and communications in CRM systems like Salesforce.
• Represent Syneos Health at industry events, conferences, client meetings, and professional gatherings.
• Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, competitors, and emerging client requirements.
• Develop and implement annual sales plans that include forecasting, objective setting, and quarterly reviews.
• Prioritize accounts and territory focus by leveraging data-informed insights.
• Create and implement monthly objectives that align with the sales plan.
• Formulate strategic account plans while identifying client challenges and expansion opportunities.
• Build and cultivate relationships with client decision-makers and influencers.
• Design and execute customized, multi-touchpoint sales strategies.
• Drive account expansion through therapeutic alignment, renewals, and next-phase opportunities.
• Serve as an internal advocate for clients, sharing insights to inform proposals and align team efforts.
• Educate clients on Syneos Health’s value proposition and clinical and commercial service capabilities.
• Conduct regular reviews of territory performance and sales pipeline.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related field.
• Proven track record in strategic sales, global business development, or client relationship management.
• Significant experience in the clinical trial industry, with extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape (required).
• In-depth understanding of clinical research service lines, including full-service offerings, FSP, RWLP, and the complete drug development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated success in leading preferred provider pursuits and negotiating master service agreements.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships with mid- to executive-level stakeholders in large, matrixed organizations.
• Strong consultative selling skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in leading cross-functional sales initiatives and managing competing priorities.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong business acumen and capability for data-driven decision-making.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM tools like Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel at least 60% for client engagements, internal meetings, and industry conferences.
