Executive Director, Project Management

📋 Description

• Lead and supervise the Project Management team within a specific therapeutic group.

• Ensure the effective execution of assigned projects.

• Recruit, train, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations for team members.

• Assist in formulating strategies and acquiring new business alongside business and senior management.

• Build and sustain strong client relationships.

• Monitor the overall financial performance of projects across various departments.

• Oversee the development, implementation, and compliance with project plans and performance metrics.

• Conduct budget evaluations and offer financial analysis support.

• Review and authorize the strategy, content, and pricing of new business proposals.

• Identify resource requirements and achieve resource management and utilization goals.

• Act as the main point of contact for assigned sponsor Alliance Partnerships.

• Lead designated sub-therapeutic groups.

• Conduct reviews of project and sponsor relationships.

• Facilitate the resolution of issues related to sponsor relationships.

• Deliver capabilities presentations and participate in bid presentations.

• Ensure project outcomes align with sponsor and company expectations.

• Engage in company initiatives and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Knowledge of clinical research principles and methodologies.

• Capacity to delegate effectively and prioritize tasks.

• Cross-cultural awareness and flexibility.

• Strong marketing and negotiation skills.

• Experience in developing and implementing new processes.

• Proficient computer skills.

• University or college degree (preferably in life sciences), certification in a related allied health field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 12 years of experience in the global clinical pharmaceutical sector.

• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in clinical project management and staff oversight.

• Ability to lead and manage staff in a global context.

• Experience in overseeing global drug development programs.

• Proven ability to negotiate professionally with clients.

• Valid passport.

• Capability to drive and possess a valid driver's license.

• Fluency in the local office language and English, both written and spoken.

• Comprehensive understanding of the drug development process and client requirements.
