πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Create and implement an annual fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Senior Vice President of Regional Leadership to meet revenue objectives.

β€’ Build and nurture relationships with corporations, foundations, and individual donors to expand and enhance private sector funding.

β€’ Develop and lead grant writing initiatives targeting philanthropic, state, and federal funding opportunities.

β€’ Involve the advisory board and key stakeholders to secure financial contributions and manage donor relationships.

β€’ Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and support fundraising communications.

β€’ Establish and maintain relationships with funders, partners, government entities, and community leaders.

β€’ Represent the organization to external stakeholders, lawmakers, and educational leaders to promote program adoption and support.

β€’ Manage and oversee stakeholder visits and site engagement activities.

β€’ Work with the advisory board to align with community, political, and educational dynamics.

β€’ Provide strategic vision and leadership to ensure program fidelity, exceptional member and partner experiences, and compliance with AmeriCorps regulations.

β€’ Implement recruitment and retention strategies to achieve enrollment and retention targets for AmeriCorps members.

β€’ Lead program expansion into new areas and ensure the preparedness of new sites.

β€’ Supervise program budgets, align resources with fundraising goals, and guarantee grant compliance.

β€’ Utilize program data and evaluation results for ongoing improvement and enhanced student outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree.

β€’ Over 10 years of leadership experience in organizational management, program management, or a similar field or sector.

β€’ Demonstrated success in fundraising and forming strategic partnerships.

β€’ Experience in managing philanthropic and community relationships; strong local connections are preferred.

β€’ Familiarity with navigating public policy and political landscapes to garner support and secure resources.

β€’ Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans that consistently meet or surpass goals.

β€’ Excellent communication skills with the capacity to convert complex ideas into actionable solutions.

β€’ Strong commitment to service and mission-driven work that enhances student and community outcomes.

β€’ Willingness to travel locally and statewide as required for meetings.

β€’ Capability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups in various settings both within and outside the organization.

β€’ Proficiency in leveraging current and emerging technologies to achieve desired outcomes.

β€’ Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy items weighing up to 25 pounds.
