This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance the value of BeOne’s partnerships in research, development, and commercialization.
• Ensure compliance with partnership agreement terms and establish BeOne as the partner of choice.
• Recruit and nurture alliance managers as business requirements evolve.
• Take ownership of global strategic alliances and the attainment of essential alliance objectives.
• Manage the execution of partnership agreements, governance committees, and working group meetings.
• Set the direction, scope, activities, timing, and responsibilities for alliance kickoff and implementation with partner organizations.
• Engage with partner alliance management counterparts and significant partner stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate legal, business, and relationship-management risks.
• Conduct periodic alliance audits and health assessments.
• Participate in external partnering events and conferences.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Legal, Finance, Clinical Development, Commercial, and other departments.
• Provide timely updates and information to management.
• Monitor compliance with research, development, and commercialization plans to ensure effective execution.
• Cultivate relationships with senior leadership and communicate critical alliance value milestones.
• Develop team recommendations and facilitate alignment with stakeholders.
• Lead or engage in contract renegotiations and negotiations for new partner contracts.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge about partner companies and act as BeOne’s internal authority.
• Attend alliance management group meetings to evaluate progress, tackle issues, and exchange best practices.
• Supervise staff members.
• A minimum of 14+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, life sciences, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in alliance management.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• Experience in drug development is essential.
• Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve critical project and partnership challenges.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent project management skills, and the capacity to handle multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
• Proven capability to coordinate input and manage competing demands from various internal and external stakeholders; must be adept at navigating ambiguity.
• Experience participating in development and life cycle management project teams.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
