This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Accurately process post-issue transactions in accordance with established procedures and within specified turnaround times.
• Execute routine tasks as well as increasingly complex assignments and projects.
• Handle premium payments, renewals, and fund transfers.
• Deliver timely resolutions to both internal and external business partners.
• Stay informed about departmental procedures, systems, guidelines, workflows, products, functions, and contacts.
• Provide clear explanations regarding research, transactions, reporting, and ad hoc Executive Benefits inquiries.
• Assist in priority cases and perform case research.
• Utilize reporting tools and available resources to conduct research and quality assessments.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with internal and external business partners.
• Recognize risks and financial implications, and communicate them effectively to management or team members.
• Adhere to state, regulatory, compliance, company, and site policies.
• Identify and suggest process enhancements.
• Engage in and collaborate on various initiatives and projects.
• Support and advocate for change management efforts.
• A 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree).
• 0-1+ years of experience in life insurance customer service/support that aligns directly with the responsibilities of this role.
• Proven history of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to drive performance goals to completion.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks and multitask while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• 3-5+ years of relevant life insurance experience and/or educational background in Business Administration (preferred).
• Strong customer service background, including excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
• Ability to utilize relevant computer systems/applications to fulfill the responsibilities of the role (preferred).
