This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Africa.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO to oversee her calendar, priorities, commitments, and operational rhythm across Africa.
• Take charge of intricate calendar management and ensure the CEO's time is concentrated on high-impact priorities.
• Prepare the CEO for meetings by providing agendas, context, briefing materials, decisions, questions, stakeholders, and follow-ups.
• Organize executive meetings, leadership forums, operational reviews, external engagements, and essential business meetings.
• Monitor follow-ups and commitments, documenting decisions, responsible parties, deadlines, and subsequent steps.
• Manage the CEO’s internal and external relationships through prompt responses, thorough preparation, and diligent follow-through.
• Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including itineraries, visas, logistics, schedules, and contingency planning.
• Assist in engagements with government officials, healthcare partners, customers, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Support recruitment and hiring processes, including interview scheduling, candidate coordination, debriefs, and confidential follow-ups.
• Create presentations, briefing documents, meeting notes, and executive communications.
• Highlight priorities, deadlines, risks, and conflicts that require the CEO’s attention.
• Represent the CEO in a professional manner while demonstrating discretion and sound judgment.
• Enhance the management of the CEO’s time, information, meetings, and follow-through.
• Serve as a trusted partner and connector within the Africa leadership team and the Zipline organization.
• Over 8 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting a CEO, executive, country leader, general manager, or other senior leaders in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional judgment and discretion in handling confidential executive, personnel, commercial, government, and operational information.
• Excellent skills in calendar, meeting, travel, and logistics management within a high-velocity environment with constantly changing priorities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
• Effective prioritization instincts and capability to safeguard executive focus while addressing urgent business needs.
• Comfort in navigating multiple countries, cultures, and time zones.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to foresee needs, identify issues early, and proactively resolve problems.
• Confidence in engaging with senior executives, government stakeholders, customers, partners, employees, and cross-functional teams.
