Events Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +18 more locations.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete production process for live virtual sessions for MasterClass Executive and Certificates, which includes scheduling, run of show, rehearsals, speaker preparation, platform setup, moderation, Q&A, and real-time troubleshooting.

• Plan and implement in-person experiences, covering venues, production, AV, vendors, travel arrangements, and on-site execution.

• Oversee the MasterClass events calendar, ensuring coordination of instructor and practitioner availability, programming requirements, and learner time zones.

• Act as the main logistics partner for instructors, guest practitioners, and their teams.

• Develop scalable event operations by creating templates, checklists, escalation paths, backup plans, and post-event workflows.

• Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and negotiations.

• Collaborate with Community, Marketing, Product, and channel leaders to enhance attendance and foster a strong learner experience.

• Utilize event data, feedback, and AI-enabled tools to refine programming and expand the Events function.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in event management, production, or experiential programming, particularly with recurring virtual events and multi-day in-person experiences.

• Extensive experience in producing live virtual programming and resolving issues during live events.

• Proven track record in managing venues, vendors, AV, contracts, budgets, and executing on-site events.

• Outstanding project management and organizational abilities.

• Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging directly with high-profile speakers, executives, talent, and their teams.

• Proficient in utilizing event technology, data, and emerging AI tools.

• Willingness to travel for in-person events.

• Flexibility to adjust working hours to accommodate live programming across different time zones.
