This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Network, organize, and host speaker series for ONC interns and the wider community.
β’ Create the College Campus Initiative aimed at fostering political tolerance and implementing practical solutions.
β’ Engage with and communicate with mentors, ONC advisors, college organizations, and campuses.
β’ Conduct outreach to potential speakers and coordinate event logistics.
β’ Assist in the planning and execution of ONC booths and networking events at college campuses.
β’ Work collaboratively with the Director of Community Events, COO, and CEO to establish ONC College Chapters.
β’ Fulfill deliverables and ensure that team milestones and deadlines are met.
β’ Manage scheduling for the Community Speaker Series broadcast both internally and externally.
β’ Update ONC Eventbrite with event details and arrange events through Zoom.
β’ A keen interest in Event Management or pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Political Science, or other related areas.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
β’ A responsive, consistent, and effective communicator, even in challenging situations.
β’ Capability to work remotely and manage their own schedule to meet deadlines.
β’ Experience with Eventbrite is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred.
β’ Must be able to attend weekly organization-wide meetings.
β’ Must be able to attend weekly Community Department meetings.
β’ Authorization to intern in the U.S. is required.
