This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise all aspects of event management from initial planning to final reporting.
• Oversee staffing for events, product sampling, consumer interaction, transportation of assets, coordination of point-of-sale materials, and production activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across different business units and act as the primary contact for clients.
• Manage team members directly, including tasks related to recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and financial oversight.
• Adhere to established operating procedures, policies, and protocols for resolving issues.
• Oversee local storage of point-of-sale materials and event-related assets.
• Ensure that all assets are accessible and functional for event activations.
• Create program summaries utilizing data and insights for immediate assessment and review.
• Formulate event strategies, project timelines, and volume distribution plans.
• Coordinate communications across agencies and within the market.
• Act as the primary local contact for clients and partners.
• Approve and submit payroll and expense reports.
• Manage payments for vendor partner invoices.
• Develop and adhere to local market budgets.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in event management.
• Only applicants residing in the Dallas–Fort Worth, TX area will be considered.
• Strong skills in budget management.
• Previous experience in sampling events and production management.
• Familiarity with the wine and spirits industry.
• Experience in sourcing candidates to ensure a suitable fit for the role and organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.
