Event Programmer – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist Ticketmaster clients with all their event management requirements.

• Create and update events based on client requests.

• Gather, evaluate, and accurately input data into the Ticketmaster Host system while adhering to best practices and established protocols.

• Confirm the accuracy of event data output.

• Utilize Host and Host applications, EventPro, EMT, and TM1 suite products.

• Achieve and surpass Event Management service level agreements.

• Identify and rectify event-related discrepancies.

• Collaborate with clients, promoters, and internal teams, including marketing, accounting, customer service, event operations, and client support, to create events and disseminate event information.

• Build and nurture relationships with assigned clients.

• Participate in a rotation for on-call support, providing assistance to clients after hours, on weekends, and during holidays.

• Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Senior Event Specialist, EM Manager, or Regional Director of Event Management.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience with the Ticketmaster System or a related field, with some familiarity and knowledge of the Ticketmaster system.

• Service-oriented mindset, demonstrating strong organizational and communication abilities.

• Capable of effectively managing multiple priorities.

• A certain degree of creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills is essential.

• Experience in Box Office operations is advantageous.

• A general understanding of the entertainment industry is crucial.

• Awareness of how Ticketmaster departments interrelate and their impact on external clients is beneficial.

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays, evenings, and holidays.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.

• Proficient in computer use with excellent data entry abilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• A BA/BS degree is preferred.
