This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take full ownership of Funnel's events and conferences calendar, managing all aspects from ideation and logistics to vendor negotiations, branding, and on-site execution.
• Lead the commercial strategy for events by collaborating with SDRs and sales for targeted outreach, coordinating with demand generation for lead follow-up, and supporting ABM campaigns.
• Oversee four annual industry conferences, ensuring a strong presence through tradeshow booths and VIP parties.
• Manage one annual user conference, known as The Forum.
• Facilitate one annual employee conference, Funnel Fest.
• Assist up to a dozen local apartment associations alongside account representatives.
• Organize six in-office events, including board meetings, leadership offsites, and VIP meetings.
• Coordinate Regional Lunch & Learn events, Regional VIP gatherings, LinkedIn Live sessions, and webinars.
• Conceptualize booth designs and VIP experiences in collaboration with external vendors.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to build and maintain the events calendar.
• Finalize promotional materials, swag, and VIP gifts in partnership with graphic design.
• Handle venue selection, A/V needs, catering, shipping, and vendor negotiations.
• Set up and manage event management platforms, including registration, check-in, and lead capture tools.
• Oversee registration sites and event landing pages.
• Travel to serve as the on-site point of contact for industry conferences, The Forum, and Funnel Fest; support local or regional events as necessary.
• Plan outreach in collaboration with SDRs and sales, including target account lists, invite cadence, and follow-up responsibilities.
• Partner with demand generation for post-event follow-up initiatives.
• Assist ABM campaigns through account selection, personalized outreach, and executive experiences.
• Distribute attendee lists, overview decks, and event details to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on event and campaign ROI, pipeline sourced and influenced, cost per lead, and conversion rates.
• Build relationships with industry partners to promote collaborative events.
• Recruit, train, and oversee on-site event staff and contracted support.
• Lead the Funnel event team on-site to foster attendee relationships that support sales objectives.
• For local candidates in Tampa, ensure the Odessa, FL office is well-maintained and stocked, staffing it up to two days per week.
• Create and manage event budgets and marketing plans aligned with approved objectives.
• Assess event opportunities before allocating budget or staff resources.
• Administer planning, marketing, servicing, and administration within approved budgets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and adjusted at the manager’s discretion.
• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in event or field marketing management, preferably in B2B SaaS or a similar field.
• Hands-on experience with setting up and administering event management platforms (e.g., Whova, Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, or similar) and other registration/lead capture tools.
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) for outreach and follow-up tracking.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with sales and SDR teams.
• Excellent presentation abilities, both in virtual formats and in-person settings.
• Demonstrated success in running events that generate pipeline, not just attendance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A degree in hotel/hospitality is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Experience with ABM strategy and execution is a plus.
• Local candidates from Odessa/Tampa, FL are preferred.
• Willingness to travel: 20%.
