Estimating & Design Lead – US Commercial Landscaping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Analyze site plans, specifications, and photographs to accurately define landscaping and maintenance tasks

• Create detailed cost estimates that encompass materials, plants, labor, equipment, and timelines

• Convert quote requests into delivered proposals promptly, with the majority dispatched within 72 hours

• Monitor each estimate from request through delivery and follow-up in the CRM system

• Apply landscape and design expertise to proposals, incorporating plant selection and layout considerations

• Identify scopes that are illogical or lack crucial client-related information

• Actively evaluate properties that are suitable for the cold quote system

• Collaborate closely with onsite sales teams, estimators, and field leadership

• Assist with site visits by providing property research, historical scope details, photographs, and notes

• Ensure accountability throughout the process from quote request to proposal delivery

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, horticulture, or landscape architecture

• Proficient in interpreting site plans, specifications, and property information, and converting them into scope and costs

• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English at a professional business level

• Availability to work during standard U.S. business hours

• Comfortable with a performance or quota element, even without prior sales experience

• Educational or experiential background in architecture, landscape architecture, or design is highly advantageous

• Experience with commercial landscaping or maintenance contracts, not just residential, is a significant advantage

• Familiarity with estimating software, CRM systems, or design tools (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is a valuable asset
