ESS Services Technician, Level 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks and physical labor at commercial and industrial solar energy projects across the United States.

• Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment and work at data centers.

• Conduct Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures as an authorized individual under properly executed LOTO conditions.

• Engage in daily safety and task planning discussions, including pre-task planning, Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs).

• Communicate with vendors and customers in a professional manner.

• Collaborate as a team member on site work, potentially overseeing onsite field activities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Work rotating shifts as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of electrical proficiency related to electrical systems and components is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in renewable energy is preferred.

• A strong commitment to safety and keen attention to detail, with the capacity to identify potential issues and provide safe solutions.

• Post-secondary education is preferred.

• Electrical certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NFPA70E are preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to fulfill Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) internal and external requirements are mandatory.

• Candidates must adhere to OSHA Standards.

• A valid driver's license held for at least one year is required.

• Willingness to travel for up to six weeks at a time.

• Ability to work rotating shifts as necessary.

• Capacity to stand for extended periods and work in ergonomically challenging positions.

• Ability to work in diverse climatic conditions.
