This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure that escrow operations for the mortgage servicing portfolio loans are executed efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee reports, escrow vendors, and associated activities, which includes monitoring open items and staff interactions.
• Generate precise Dashboard/SLA reports and guarantee that monthly escrow metrics are met or exceeded.
• Escalate any unresolved issues to management while keeping them informed about resolved matters and achievements.
• Provide training for Escrow Department personnel and encourage mentoring and the implementation of best practices.
• Direct and manage special projects, offering regular status reports and updates on deadline risks to management.
• Track and monitor corporate advances related to tax penalties, notifying management about expenses or potential losses.
• Assist in the procurement of tax service contracts.
• Create a matrix for taxing authority due dates.
• Prepare the monthly FHA portfolio comparison report and ensure the completion of exceptions.
• Add and maintain headers for escrow payees.
• Supervise inbound and outbound transfer activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines for payments, data updates, tax contracts, and flood certificates.
• Manage data programming for escrow workstations concerning inbound transfers, which includes tax tables, payees, and insurance line mapping; analyze test-region outputs for accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in mortgage loan servicing/lending; roles in insurance companies, escrow departments, accounts payable, or similar positions may be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Passport, and managing mass transaction files is required.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to quickly understand concepts, make effective decisions, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Capacity to thrive in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
• Capability to work independently with minimal oversight and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve common objectives.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as over the phone.
• Competency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Preferred knowledge of taxing authority due dates, including delinquent and loss/reduction of discount dates.
• A quiet, private workspace at home.
• High-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 25 MBPS and upload speed of 10 MBPS.
• Availability to work during normal business hours, with flexibility for early, late, or weekend hours as required.
