This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Deliver repair services for all equipment in practitioners’ offices, emphasizing exceptional customer service.
• Offer installation services to clients as necessary.
• Operate independently while managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing duties.
• Diagnose technical issues, identify errors, and determine suitable solutions.
• Provide recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
• Oversee and manage inventory levels within the service van.
• Support junior technicians with their assignments as needed.
• Create timely and detailed service reports.
• Participate in mandatory technical and career development training.
• Update team members and HUB dispatchers on assignment progress.
• Complete work orders, review them with customers or responsible staff, close them daily, and submit for billing.
• Submit job-related paperwork, including FDA forms, expense reports, and other required documents.
• Engage in special projects and perform other assigned tasks.
• Generally, 3 to 5 years of experience in the dental industry with proven proficiency.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Experience in customer service.
• Must start cross-certifying (digital x-ray/software, digital CAD/CAM, etc.).
• Intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Capability to lead installations.
• Ability to work effectively on one’s own.
• Intermediate troubleshooting abilities.
• Proven capability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to present preventative maintenance options to customers.
• Independent self-starter.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage work orders, FSRs, Concur, eTime, RMA’s, and 2579 reporting accurately and punctually.
• Typically requires a high school education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training; an Associate's degree or Technical School Certification is preferred.
• Ability to maneuver large equipment.
• Capable of performing significant and/or repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing of ladders.
• Adherence to OSHA regulations and use of personal protective equipment as needed.
• Compliance with Fleet Management Policy, including maintenance and accident management policies.
