This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee and effectively implement Oncology clinical trial protocol content.
β’ Collaborate with physicians, nurse coordinators/managers, treatment room nurses, Clinical Research Coordinators, Investigational Drug Service Pharmacists, and EPIC Beacon/Willow development teams.
β’ Create therapeutic clinical research documentation for interventional protocols to aid in EPIC Willow and Beacon configurations.
β’ Act as a vital nursing resource for research orders specified in protocols.
β’ Generate clear, timely, and comprehensive protocol-specific content, which includes delivery instructions for pre-medications, supportive therapies, scans, labs, and investigational drugs.
β’ Ensure that research-related information in the EPIC EHR is accurate and current for both new and ongoing clinical trials.
β’ Organize and finalize intricate electronic order sets.
β’ Participate in study initiation visits and protocol-specific training sessions.
β’ Provide nursing education as necessary.
β’ Assist clinical teams in delivering protocol-consistent patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
β’ Submit and verify research protocol orders with the protocol content administration team.
β’ Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or a combination of education and/or experience may be accepted in lieu of minimum education requirements.
β’ A current RN License in Missouri and/or Illinois, based on the work location; or graduation from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy Degree.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience as an RN in clinical research related to clinical trials, or as a pharmacist in an academic setting.
β’ Ability to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
