Epic Orders / ASAP Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute analysis and design of Epic application systems, covering requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation.

• Offer support for Epic applications, including troubleshooting, training, and reporting.

• Assist in the support and troubleshooting of integrated third-party and other non-Epic applications.

• Act as a liaison among delivery teams, clients, vendors, and Epic modules.

• Perform advanced analysis for Epic application design, implementation planning, and optimization of application benefits.

• Guide colleagues in resolving issues, tracking problems, and providing updates to peers, leadership, and clients.

• Oversee assigned projects, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Carry out complex tasks independently.

• Organize and lead requirements gathering and detailed design sessions for Epic projects and requests.

• Evaluate client business needs alongside application functionality.

• Create reference materials, status reports, documentation, and resources for knowledge transfer.

• Champion departmental initiatives and processes.

• Assist in managing application change processes, communications, contingency planning, change events, and post-change reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Epic Orders Certification is mandatory.

• Epic ASAP Certification is preferred.

• Must secure and uphold at least three vendor or industry certifications/proficiencies as stipulated by management.

• Must maintain certification/proficiency in relevant Epic module(s).

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.

• An Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or business, or 2 years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Availability during standard business hours from Monday to Friday is essential.

• Flexibility is required beyond standard hours, including involvement in an after-hours on-call rotation.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Capacity to conduct highly complex work independently with significant freedom for independent judgment.
