
EPIC HIM Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Participate in the strategy, design, and enhancement of the Epic HIM and Identity product suite.
• Offer subject-matter expertise.
• Advise on best-practice workflows.
• Implement system improvements.
• Assist with organizational initiatives such as Gold Stars, Honor Roll, and Epic Upgrades.
• Collaborate with application and technical team members as well as end users.
• Provide on-site support for member organizations during new software installations when necessary.
• Facilitate Go-Live installations or training through travel when required.
• Operate remotely from a virtual home-office setting and remain on camera during virtual meetings.
• At least 2–3 years of experience as an Analyst is essential.
• Current certification in the assigned Epic application(s), including Hospital coding, ROI, and Deficiency Tracking.
• A background in Healthcare IT is mandatory.
• Proven experience in system application development.
• Strong comprehension of HIM and Identity workflows, analytics, and technology.
• Experience in creating system application packages and transitioning them through various environments.
• In-depth understanding of health information management and identity functionality for Community Connects, Critical Access Hospitals, and Rural Healthcare.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with application and technical team members as well as end users.
• Possess integrity and accountability.
• Detail-oriented approach with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-focused.
• Capability to work autonomously and effectively from a home office.
• High-speed internet connection is required.
• Must have a distraction-free workspace.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
• COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption is mandatory for employment.
• Willingness to travel nationally as needed.
• EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, and Gallery certifications are advantageous.
• Completion of a 50–60-minute competency assessment prior to the team interview is required.
