
EPIC Configuration Analyst – Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the designated Epic System software.
• Collaborate with Epic, Subject Matter Experts, and end users to customize the system according to organizational requirements.
• Assess workflows, data collection, and technical challenges related to Epic software.
• Design, develop, test, and sustain Epic solutions.
• Provide tier-2 support for application-related incidents.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, maintenance requests, enhancement proposals, upgrades, updates, and projects.
• Develop and uphold requirements, specifications, and testing cases.
• Create, review, and refresh test scripts.
• Modify Epic records, tables, and master files as necessary.
• Implement changes in accordance with documented, policy-compliant procedures.
• Participate in team and cross-team meetings, keeping accurate meeting records.
• Offer recommendations and review and test changes, enhancements, and releases.
• Assist the training team by communicating new functionalities and system modifications.
• Develop workflows and productivity solutions in collaboration with SMEs.
• Mentor and instruct analysts, guiding team members across various teams.
• Troubleshoot issues beyond the supported application scope.
• Create and deliver presentations to large cross-functional audiences.
• Analyze new release functionalities and assess their impacts.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance, change management, and testing protocols.
• Facilitate meetings, drive subsequent actions, and provide notes and follow-up.
• Lead change management initiatives and foster stakeholder adoption.
• Identify and implement process improvements across teams and areas.
• Proactively suggest operational solutions.
• Build and nurture relationships with other Epic customers.
• Assist in the development of strategic initiatives.
• Support project scoping and timeline evaluations with leadership.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in IT or business.
• 3 years of Epic-specific experience.
• An additional 6 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Epic certification in supporting applications.
• Additional proficiency, certification, or badges in relevant application areas.
• Expert-level understanding of the supported Epic application.
• Knowledge of workflows, application integration, downstream systems, and integrated workflows.
• Capability to work independently 100% of the time.
• Availability to provide 24/7 on-call coverage as needed.
