This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure and support clinical applications within the Epic EHR software for member clinics in Acute Care.

• Consult with members to deliver accurate, secure, and efficient solutions for patient care and provider workflows.

• Conduct routine build and configuration tasks in Epic and related products.

• Provide Level 2 technical support for ancillary integrated products.

• Gather and resolve issues while coordinating with the Help Desk for JIRA resolution.

• Support vendor-call agendas and represent OCHIN from a technical standpoint.

• Contribute to the support model of the Member Care Team.

• Facilitate working sessions with OCHIN members to address advanced integration work orders and support issues.

• Discuss workflow solutions and offer hands-on system training.

• Document build specifications, team processes, and intricate clinic workflows.

• Ensure quality in complex builds, Service Update modifications, and other work orders.

• Collaborate with other OCHIN teams to tackle integration challenges.

• Provide on-site support during Go-Lives and Mock clinics.

• Lead training sessions and member workgroups.

• Mentor, coach, and train less experienced analysts.

• Develop and disseminate workflow best practices.

• Travel as necessary for off-site Go-Live software installations for new members.

• Provide support for inpatient clinics, which may include after-hours/on-call assistance.

• Assist Project Managers in identifying system capabilities.

• Build, design, test, and document the functionality of new system features.

• Enhance processes within the application or team.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Epic Certification in ClinDoc and Stork is mandatory.

• Required build experience within Epic.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar or relevant position.

• Preferred 3–5 years of experience as an Epic Applications Analyst.

• At least 2 years of build experience is required.

• Full-cycle implementation build experience is highly desired.

• Required work history in Healthcare IT.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or a combination of college education and 5–7 years of relevant experience.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption is required before hiring.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a home office environment.

• High-speed internet service is required.

• Capability to work in a distraction-free workplace.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% nationally for on-site Go-Live support.
