
EPIC Apprentice Facilitator – Full Cycle Revenue Cycle Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide apprentices through the completion of Epic certification, proficiency training, operational end-user training, customer service training, JIRA responsiveness training, and application-specific learning.
• Adapt formal curriculum to enhance applied build and configuration skills.
• Assist apprentices with full-cycle revenue cycle applications, including Prelude, Cadence, Referrals, Estimates, Resolute, RTE, and Grand Central.
• Offer technical leadership for service catalog tasks suitable for apprentices, which includes ticket review, troubleshooting advice, escalation support, documentation coaching, and readiness evaluation.
• Collaborate with trainers, operational leaders, Help Desk supervisors, MCT supervisors, mentors, and application subject matter experts.
• Aid apprentices in cultivating effective build habits through documented standards, peer reviews, disciplined testing, clear documentation, and an understanding of downstream effects.
• Act as a people leader and coach by establishing expectations, tracking progress, removing obstacles, providing constructive feedback, and fostering engagement and retention.
• Contribute to phase-gate readiness discussions by evaluating technical development, quality, productivity, professional behaviors, and readiness for greater responsibilities.
• Identify learning gaps and collaborate with Learning teams to enhance job aids, simulations, coaching materials, standard operating procedures, and practical application opportunities.
• Epic certification is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on build experience with relevant full-cycle revenue cycle applications.
• Epic certifications and practical build experience in clinically oriented applications, including Revenue Cycle: Prelude, Cadence, Resolute Hospital Billing, and Resolute Professional Billing.
• Proven experience in coaching, teaching, training, or mentoring technical teams, analysts, apprentices, or early-career professionals.
• Strong knowledge of Epic build and configuration principles, revenue cycle support workflows, testing methodologies, documentation standards, and support escalation protocols.
• Ability to relate technical configuration choices to patient access, billing, reimbursement, eligibility, referrals, estimates, member operations, and overall business outcomes.
• Experience in providing constructive feedback, evaluating learner readiness, and supporting development plans for technical personnel.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in English reading, speaking, writing, and comprehension.
• Capability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment.
