This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the main support contact for the designated Epic application.
• Manage issues that arise during the project specific to the application area.
• Conduct thorough analysis and data collection regarding report details and technical issues related to Epic software.
• Execute maintenance tasks, including managing error queues and conducting reviews.
• Engage in the development, execution, and approval of system testing.
• Create and sustain documentation on system configurations and technical components.
• Recognize needs for system enhancements and propose best-practice solutions for future workflows and processes.
• Detect and address issues impacting the application area as well as other application teams.
• Guide and develop workflows, encompassing system design, construction, and testing.
• Examine technical issues associated with the EHR.
• Identify and implement changes requested by the team.
• Serve as a liaison between end-user workflow requirements and implementation teams.
• Maintain regular communication with EHR representatives and take part in weekly project team meetings.
• Collaborate with EHR representatives, the organization’s business community, and end users to ensure the system aligns with business needs.
• Participate in training sessions and assist end users.
• Record troubleshooting efforts and resolutions through the ticketing system.
• Conduct weekly communications with team members regarding deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, and upcoming milestones.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• 3–5 years of experience with HB, Cadence/Prelude.
• Extensive knowledge of Epic software.
• EHR certification in the relevant business area.
• Understanding of how to develop strategic business plans.
• Capability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers and translate customer needs into technical language.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a history of creating and executing innovative solutions aimed at enhancing customer service.
• Familiarity with the healthcare industry, healthcare information systems, and associated practices.
• A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field is required.
