EPC Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct project teams to finalize engineering designs for electrical infrastructure projects catering to construction clients across the United States.

• Assume accountability for overall project performance, reporting, and maintaining strategic relationships.

• Oversee project costs, timelines, and scope, including the development of recovery plans.

• Liaise with clients and internal management to address issues and provide updates on progress, costs, schedule adherence, and risks.

• Ensure compliance with contract terms throughout the project's duration.

• Collaborate with Engineering Leads and Managers to monitor and fulfill client deliverables.

• Guarantee and document compliance with quality control processes.

• Engage with clients, internal project teams, engineering disciplines, functional leaders, subcontractors, and support staff.

• Create bid documents, formulate cost estimates, and respond to requests for proposals.

• Complete client invoicing and accruals within designated time frames.

• Enhance existing partnerships and foster new relationships within the local community.

• Travel as necessary to support utility customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of the electric power industry and understanding of business issues related to power delivery services.

• Proven experience working in a project setting for or with US-based electric utilities.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related field is essential.

• At least four (4) years of relevant experience in the electric power sector.

• Candidates with consulting experience will be highly favored.

• Ability to comprehend, plan, track, and report on project financial performance.

• Proven success in managing change effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Workfront, Pro Core, MS Project, P6).

• Experience using MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Periodic travel is necessary; candidates must be available for travel as required.

• Candidates must reside in the US to be eligible for consideration.

• Sponsorship for this position is not available.

• Experience in leading EPC contracts is an added qualification.

• Experience in supporting construction operations is an additional qualification.

• PMP Certification is preferred; candidates may wish to pursue PMP Certification within two years.
