Environmental Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all onsite operations at client sites related to the storage, transportation, and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste, along with associated services.

• Organize and supervise the activities of onsite personnel.

• Act as the intermediary between clients and vendors for service-related issues and contract management.

• Uphold established safety and environmental standards.

• Coordinate the logistics for hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation, which includes profiling, scheduling, manifesting, and loading both bulk and drum loads.

• Identify, design, and execute cost-saving initiatives and proposals in collaboration with clients.

• Conduct inspections and generate reports to ensure adherence to client and governmental regulations.

• Address compliance and service issues promptly.

• Manage the financial responsibilities of clients and vendors, covering invoicing, reporting, and contracts.

• Educate site personnel and advocate for adherence to safety, environmental, federal, state, and local regulations.

• Occasionally engage in physically demanding tasks such as drum collection and bulking.

• Work in a combination of office and plant/field settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (from an accredited institution) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline, or a High School Diploma or GED (from an accredited institution) along with 4 years of relevant work experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in addition to the educational qualifications.

• HAZWOPER Certification required upon hire.

• Experience with RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance is necessary upon hire.

• OSHA 24-Hour Certification required upon hire.

• Must reside and work in the U.S.

• Customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be mandated prior to assignment and/or hiring.

• Experience with Streamline is preferred.
