This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

• Collaborate with a globally distributed team located across various countries.

• Design, develop, and enhance Yelp Host features that facilitate connections between businesses and customers through voice AI at scale.

• Engage in call intelligence initiatives utilizing LLMs to assess phone calls and provide insights to restaurants.

• Take part in daily standups and collaborative meetings with product managers, senior engineers, and designers.

• Work closely with seasoned engineers for mentorship and practical learning opportunities.

• Focus on user experience and actively share ideas for continuous improvement.

• Write clean, maintainable code using Python, JavaScript, and React.

• Utilize AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex when necessary to boost productivity.

• All spoken and written communication for this position must be conducted in English.

• Educational background and/or work experience, or a strong interest in full stack development, including backend and frontend frameworks.

• Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, MySQL, React, and JavaScript.

• A strong desire to learn about applied AI and LLMs, and to apply practical solutions to real-world business problems.

• Comfortable operating within a Unix environment.
