This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the configuration of the Workday tenant, including business processes and system settings.
• Direct the updates, releases, and enhancements of the Workday system.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.
• Assess and incorporate new features within Workday.
• Act as the primary technical resource for resolving complex Workday issues.
• Train and empower Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
• Manage ticket queues and tackle challenging system issues.
• Chair the Workday change control committee, collaborating with HR, Finance, and IS stakeholders.
• Guide the decision-making process regarding system changes and enhancements.
• Communicate updates, obtain necessary approvals, and execute changes.
• Foster the adoption and dissemination of Workday changes.
• Oversee vendor relationships and third-party support services.
• Collaborate with the implementation vendor, HR, Finance, and IS leadership.
• Ensure a seamless Workday launch and maintain ongoing operational excellence.
• Plan and oversee system upgrades and go-live events.
• Support over 2,000 users across various business units.
• Manage integrations, reporting, and security for the system at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technologies, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, tier-3 support, report generation, and system documentation.
• 7+ years of practical experience in Workday administration.
• Familiarity with Workday tenant management, business processes, security roles, access control, integrations (EIB, Core Connect, APIs, Workday Studio), reporting, and release management.
• Background in cloud platforms, enterprise integrations, Microsoft Office 365, and data reporting/analytics tools (Prism, calculated fields, dashboards).
• Openness to pursuing Workday certifications.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• No visa sponsorship is available now or in the future.
• Experience in managing integrations with third-party systems, Workday security management, identity and access management systems, and IT security best practices.
• Workday certifications in HCM, Finance, or Security are preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or other IT certifications are advantageous.
• Experience in application administration, integrations/interface management, leading committees, and supporting system implementations.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, disaster recovery, and compliance is beneficial.
