This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +15 more states.
• Oversee assigned enterprise technical projects from their initiation through to execution, closure, and transition to operations or product stewardship.
• Collaborate with executive sponsors and business stakeholders to establish objectives, define the scope, set success criteria, and develop business cases.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and strategies for risk mitigation.
• Coordinate efforts among architects, engineers, analysts, external vendors, and other cross-functional technical teams.
• Facilitate project governance, status updates, risk and issue management, and change control processes.
• Manage project dependencies, constraints, and coordination across portfolios and business units.
• Supervise vendor selection processes, provide contracting support, and manage vendor performance.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, capitalization considerations, and approval workflows.
• Ensure that technical solutions comply with quality, security, compliance, and resiliency standards.
• Organize testing, user acceptance, deployment readiness, and production releases.
• Assist with change readiness, stakeholder communications, and training coordination.
• Guide the project transition into production and facilitate the handoff to Product Management or operational support teams.
• Encourage collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout project teams.
• Utilize approved AI tools responsibly to enhance project planning, analysis, communication, and delivery efficiency while ensuring human oversight and adherence to privacy, security, confidentiality, and ethical-use policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years of experience in managing technology-driven or enterprise IT projects.
• Proven experience in handling complex, cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies within technical settings.
• Experience in managing project budgets, timelines, risks, and vendor relationships.
• Understanding of enterprise technology delivery, SDLC practices, and integration considerations.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow PPM, including Project Workspace.
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Planner, Smartsheet, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent.
• Strong technical aptitude and the capacity to comprehend system interactions and technical dependencies.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and the ability to present to executives.
• Capable of managing ambiguity and competing priorities in large-scale technical environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with enterprise governance, security, and risk management frameworks.
