This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Advocate for the Confluence suite of investment-data solutions within the designated territory.
• Deliver solutions throughout the investment lifecycle to Asset Managers, Fund Administrators, Investment Consultants, Wealth Managers, and Asset Owners.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to strategize and implement a pipeline of opportunities.
• Oversee opportunities throughout the sales process leading to contract finalization.
• Report directly to the Head of Business Development.
• Take ownership of the assigned quota for new sales within new relationships/accounts.
• Propel the enterprise sales process from opportunity identification through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
• Meet sales targets by prioritizing activities and managing the sales pipeline effectively.
• Create and present customized business cases that demonstrate solution value or ROI.
• Showcase solution advantages through prospect visits, industry conferences, and online demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Business Development Representatives and Marketing to transition leads through to sales closure.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of Confluence and competitor solution benefits and pricing.
• Utilize Salesforce.com for recording meeting, call, and email insights to aid in forecasting and pipeline management.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and develop an understanding of client and prospect needs.
• Leverage industry and third-party networks to enhance pipeline and extend Confluence's market presence.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited University or equivalent industry experience.
• 7-10+ years of enterprise sales experience, particularly in selling software solutions or data to financial institutions.
• Experience in New Client / New Logo sales.
• Proficient in using Salesforce, Teams, Outlook, and LinkedIn.
• Ability to network and cultivate relationships with senior leaders at leading global asset managers, Fund Administrators, Investment Consultants, Wealth Managers, and Asset Owners.
• Proven track record in a high-velocity sales environment with strong multi-tasking capabilities.
• Experience in identifying the needs and concerns of prospects.
• Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in in-person and virtual presentations, displaying professionalism, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of engaging with prospects to extract vital information about their businesses and analyze complex business challenges.
• Ability to think creatively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
• Strong aptitude for grasping new business, data, and technology concepts.
• Background in Financial Technology Sales.
• Familiarity with Miller Heiman or a similar sales management methodology.
• Eligibility to work in the United States; pre-employment checks may include verification of right to work in the UK.
