Enterprise Risk Officer, ECRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in identifying, evaluating, and monitoring risks throughout the organization to ensure effective mitigation strategies are implemented.

• Support organization-wide risk management processes, including providing insights and updates to leadership as necessary.

• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of risk policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with best practices.

• Aid in the ongoing maintenance of the risk register, ensuring that risks are accurately documented and regularly assessed.

• Help prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior management and relevant committees.

• Collaborate with business units to foster a robust risk culture and enhance risk awareness within the organization.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.

• Support internal audit processes and provide assistance during external audits as needed.

• Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Security, Product, and other essential stakeholders.

• Facilitate the ongoing development of key elements of the Second-Line of Defence Enterprise Risk Management program.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, or a related field.

• Experience in supporting or executing risk management activities in a regulated or structured environment.

• A specific focus on enterprise, operational, and regulatory risk.

• Familiarity with identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks.

• Understanding of practical application of enterprise risk frameworks.

• Strong comprehension of enterprise risk and risk management control frameworks.

• Experience in drafting and developing policies, procedures, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Ability to translate regulatory or internal requirements into practical and sustainable processes.

• Highly analytical, capable of assessing complex information to identify operational, regulatory, and enterprise-level risks.

• Proficient in building processes, maintaining risk registers, tracking mitigation actions, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date risk documentation.

• Ability to engage stakeholders at various organizational levels and articulate risk concepts in clear, business-friendly terms.

• Comfortable preparing reports, summaries, and presentations for senior management and committees.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, track actions, meet deadlines, and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
