This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Take ownership of and continuously enhance the AI-adoption strategy within the Risk domain.
• Collaborate with risk program leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of dashboards, agents, and tools.
• Support the warehousing of essential enterprise data, ensuring it is accessible, sanitized, and maintained according to industry best practices and automation standards.
• Develop, sustain, and implement capacity planning across the Enterprise Risk teams.
• Provide regular updates on capacity to Senior Management and oversight committees.
• Oversee centralized and cross-functional OKR tracking and progress reporting.
• Manage change-management requirements through impact analyses and stakeholder coordination.
• Create program-level KPI reporting, including monthly operational summaries for execution-based risk programs.
• Sequence and prioritize risk program initiatives based on dependencies, resource availability, regulatory priorities, and capacity considerations.
• Construct risk dashboards for the Bank’s fintech partnerships utilizing automation and AI-native capabilities.
• Benchmark industry trends, peer practices, and emerging regulatory guidelines.
• Translate findings into a prioritized roadmap for program enhancements and cross-functional collaboration.
• Prepare and present governance materials for risk committees.
• Improve the format and content of committee information in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bridge Risk, Compliance, and senior leadership by surfacing issues and aligning priorities.
• Coordinate data acquisition and analysis for bank examinations, audits, and risk and compliance projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related governance/reporting role.
• Experience preferably within the banking, fintech, or Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) sectors.
• Proficiency in using generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Glean.
• Proven track record of establishing or managing centralized reporting frameworks, KRIs/KPIs, or executive dashboards that consolidate data from various stakeholders.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with BI/visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience in developing or contributing to strategic roadmaps and translating high-level priorities into structured, trackable plans.
• Working knowledge of banking regulations and supervisory guidance relevant to enterprise risk governance, including OCC, Fed, and FDIC guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing and presenting materials directly to senior leadership and committees.
• Demonstrated ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or evolving governance and reporting requirements.
