Trading Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the daily oversight and configuration of trade risk.

• Detect and address cases of client abuse.

• Foster and manage relationships with liquidity providers.

• Develop data tools to uphold the risk framework.

• Recognize and analyze unusual trading behaviors, such as latency arbitrage, rebate farming, and multi-account misuse.

• Create automated risk monitoring tools and dashboards utilizing Python/SQL or another preferred programming language.

• Perform reviews of client accounts flagged for suspicious activities and compile investigation summaries.

• Supervise live client positions, margin levels, and stop out events across all account groups.

• Manage and refine MT4/MT5 group settings, which encompass margin rules, leverage profiles, execution rules, and basket margin configurations.

• Assist in the design and documentation of risk policies and internal controls.

• Respond swiftly to requests from management and support teams.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Technology, and senior risk leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dealing desk, risk, or back-office role within a retail or institutional FX/CFD brokerage.

• Practical experience with MT4 and MT5 Administrator and Manager, including group configurations, symbol settings, leverage rules, and utilizing MT reports.

• Familiarity with at least one liquidity bridge platform, such as PrimeXM, OneZero, FXCM Bridge, Gold-i, or similar.

• Proven track record in identifying and investigating client abuse, including rebate farming, arbitrage, multi-account coordination, and NBC exploitation.

• Strong SQL capabilities, including the ability to write complex queries against trade databases for investigation and reporting purposes.

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation scripting, and developing risk-related tools.
