This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Oversee intricate customer-oriented diagnostic implementation projects across extensive healthcare systems.
• Act as the main project leader from pre-sales planning through to go-live, hypercare, and project closure.
• Manage projects that encompass multiple facilities, regions, or health systems.
• Create and implement project plans, schedules, resource strategies, and risk management activities.
• Assist in pre-sales planning by providing implementation knowledge, operational advice, and timeline creation.
• Function as the primary liaison for customer leadership teams throughout the implementation process.
• Lead executive reviews, governance meetings, project status reports, and manage escalations.
• Convert customer needs into implementation plans that incorporate hardware, software, automation, informatics, and workflow solutions.
• Coordinate efforts across Sales, Informatics, Automation, Clinical Applications, Service Engineering, Operations, and customer teams.
• Direct cross-functional teams, ensure accountability, and address implementation challenges.
• Manage stakeholder alignment as priorities, resources, or requirements shift.
• Supervise customer readiness, validation processes, and preparations for go-live.
• Facilitate issue resolution during implementation, testing, validation, and post-go-live support.
• Steer projects through stabilization and hypercare until successful completion.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience leading customer-focused project implementations in healthcare, healthcare IT, medical devices, diagnostics, enterprise technology, or a similar technical field.
• Proven experience in managing business-to-business implementations with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Background in leading projects that involve software, hardware, workflow transformation, systems integration, or operational enhancement initiatives.
• Established ability to influence and guide teams without direct reporting authority.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Central United States to facilitate customer implementations.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with laboratory diagnostics, healthcare informatics, automation, middleware, healthcare technology, or enterprise software solutions is preferred.
• Background in managing both technical and operational project implementations is preferred.
• Experience leading complex, multimillion-dollar implementation projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with customer solution planning and pre-sales implementation activities is preferred.
• Experience supporting large health systems, enterprise healthcare clients, or highly regulated environments is preferred.
