This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Lead intricate customer-oriented diagnostic implementation projects across extensive healthcare systems.
• Act as the primary project leader from pre-sales planning through to go-live, hypercare, and project closure.
• Oversee projects that span multiple facilities, regions, or health systems.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, resource strategies, and risk mitigation actions.
• Assist in pre-sales planning by offering implementation expertise, operational guidance, and timeline creation.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customer leadership teams.
• Facilitate executive reviews, governance meetings, project status updates, and manage escalations.
• Convert customer requirements into implementation plans that incorporate hardware, software, automation, informatics, and workflow solutions.
• Coordinate activities among Sales, Informatics, Automation, Clinical Applications, Service Engineering, Operations, and customer teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams, foster accountability, and address implementation challenges.
• Manage alignment among stakeholders as priorities, resources, or requirements change.
• Oversee customer readiness, validation, and preparations for go-live.
• Coordinate issue resolution during implementation, testing, validation, and post-go-live support.
• Guide projects through stabilization and hypercare until successful closure.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in leading customer-facing project implementations within healthcare, healthcare IT, medical devices, diagnostics, enterprise technology, or a similar technical environment.
• Experience in managing business-to-business implementations that involve multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in leading projects that include software, hardware, workflow transformation, systems integration, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated capability to influence and lead teams without direct reporting authority.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Central United States.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience in supporting laboratory diagnostics, healthcare informatics, automation, middleware, healthcare technology, or enterprise software solutions is preferred.
• Experience in managing both technical and operational project implementations is preferred.
• Proven experience in leading complex, multimillion-dollar implementation projects is preferred.
• Experience in supporting customer solution planning and pre-sales implementation activities is preferred.
• Experience in supporting large health systems, enterprise healthcare customers, or highly regulated environments is preferred.
