Enterprise Business Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives to devise enterprise account strategies by identifying target accounts and entry points within security, platform, and engineering departments.

• Conduct tailored, technical outbound outreach directed at developers, DevOps professionals, and security executives.

• Investigate containers, CI/CD processes, cloud infrastructures, and the methodologies companies use to develop and deliver software.

• Initiate preliminary discussions and assess opportunities by comprehending the technical landscape, risk posture, and business objectives.

• Develop a robust pipeline and generate opportunities that advance through the sales process.

• Work together with Account Executives on account strategies, messaging, and progression of deals.

• Utilize Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, and analytical tools effectively.

• Experiment with messaging, provide insights, and enhance market engagement strategies.

• Convey buyer feedback to the marketing and product teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a BDR/SDR role (or relevant transferable experience)

• Demonstrated capacity to generate pipeline through outbound efforts, rather than solely relying on inbound qualification.

• Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders in technical or intricate organizations.

• Excellent writing abilities, particularly in crafting personalized and pertinent outreach communications.

• A strong desire to learn about modern software and security practices.

• Ability to navigate uncertainties and develop your own strategies.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, or comparable tools.

• Proven history of achieving or surpassing pipeline objectives.
