Enterprise Architect – Intune SME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and manage the implementation of sophisticated technology solutions based on Microsoft systems within large organizations.

• Align technological strategies with business objectives to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and well-integrated.

• Convert mission, functional, and operational requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions for on-premises and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

• Lead cross-functional teams in engineering and operations to enhance reliability, automation, and service performance in line with SEC OIT goals.

• Drive evaluations of technology, conduct proofs of concept, pilots, and demonstrations.

• Ensure design integrations meet the requirements for 24x7x365 enterprise operations and observability.

• Make sure that architectural decisions comply with Zero Trust, FISMA, and SEC governance standards.

• Transform complex business requirements into technical blueprints, including aspects of security, availability, and cost optimization.

• Architect and oversee enterprise IT systems across server, platform, storage, and cloud domains.

• Define resilient, scalable target-state designs and transitional architectures for hybrid environments.

• Develop and sustain architecture documentation, standards, and technical decision records.

• Identify, evaluate, and recommend relevant technologies.

• Guide modernization efforts in virtualization, cloud integration, and enterprise infrastructure transformation.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary technical liaison among clients, internal teams, and leadership.

• Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary enterprise teams.

• Establish architecture requirements for monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational visibility.

• Assist in root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement related to SLA and performance targets.

• Ensure that designs are maintainable in 24x7x365 operations, including change/release coordination and lifecycle management.

• Offer technical leadership for system integration, scalability, and security architecture across various vendor platforms.

• Integrate security controls and compliance needs into infrastructure and platform designs.

• Ensure that architectural strategies uphold FISMA-aligned controls, vulnerability remediation, and secure configuration baselines.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with SEC policies, risk management, and operational governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must fulfill contract citizenship/work authorization criteria.

• Ability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust clearance (or higher if necessary).

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, along with 10+ years of pertinent experience in engineering and architecting enterprise IT systems; 4 years of experience may substitute for a BS degree.

• Proven track record in managing endpoints using Microsoft Intune, including PCs and mobile devices.

• Demonstrated capability in translating functional requirements into enterprise technical solutions and leading integration/scalability initiatives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate certification or equivalent.

• Preferred: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.

• Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.

• Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.

• Preferred experience in supporting U.S. federal IT environments with FISMA/NIST/OMB compliance requirements.

• Preferred experience in architecting or supporting observability platforms and enterprise monitoring integrations in large environments.

• Preferred hands-on experience with container platforms and automation frameworks such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ansible, and GitOps toolchains.

• Preferred experience leading architecture projects in 24x7x365 enterprise operations organizations.

• Preferred previous support to SEC or similarly regulated financial-sector federal agencies.

• Preferred Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

• Preferred AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.

• Preferred TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
