
Enterprise Account Manager – Point of Care Diagnostics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Cultivate and oversee strategic partnerships within large regional Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs)
• Promote retention and growth of the Abbott Point of Care portfolio
• Formulate and implement account strategies
• Utilize cross-functional resources to deliver solutions that enhance customer outcomes and drive profitable revenue growth
• Meet sales targets and adhere to the sales budget
• Establish and nurture senior-level relationships within designated accounts
• Gain insights into customer decision-makers and influencers to boost profitable sales and safeguard base business
• Identify innovative strategic solutions for the commercial team
• Provide timely and precise forecasting to senior leadership
• Collaborate with APOC US Commercial functions to meet commercial objectives
• Organize, coordinate, and manage broader commercial team activities across sales, marketing, finance, and other departments
• Recognize sales opportunities and represent Abbott and its offerings
• Collaborate with leadership to define roles, expectations, responsibilities, and timelines
• Serve as an internal advocate for the customer and leverage internal relationships to achieve business goals
• Manage contract negotiations, pricing, proposal/bid preparation, customer service, and follow-up
• Assist in developing strategic sales plans and tactics, including annual territory/regional plans and sales forecasting
• Monitor market, customer, and competitor trends and advise management on enhancing competitiveness
• Partner with APOC US Marketing to identify opportunities and create marketing plans and programs
• Deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to sales and marketing management
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline
• Over 7 years of sales or relevant experience, including selling to executive-level decision-makers in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory, medical device, or Point of Care sectors
• Proven track record in strategic account management, value-based solution selling, contract negotiations, and driving revenue growth within intricate healthcare organizations
• Demonstrated capability to build and influence senior-level relationships
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams within a matrixed environment
• Proficient in navigating complex customer organizations to devise successful solutions
• Strong business acumen and financial insight
• Outstanding negotiation, problem-solving, critical thinking, leadership, and networking abilities
• Documented history of sales success
• Must reside within the designated territory
• Willingness to travel up to 60%
• Preferred: 3+ years of Enterprise Account and IDN sales experience
• Preferred: MBA
