This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Cultivate and oversee strategic partnerships within significant regional Integrated Delivery Networks.
• Propel retention and growth of the Abbott Point of Care portfolio.
• Formulate and implement account strategies.
• Utilize cross-functional resources to deliver solutions that enhance customer outcomes and foster profitable revenue growth.
• Meet sales objectives while adhering to the sales budget.
• Forge and nurture senior-level relationships within designated accounts.
• Comprehend customer decision-makers and influencers to drive profitable sales while safeguarding existing business.
• Identify innovative strategic solutions for the commercial team.
• Provide precise and timely forecasting to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with APOC US Commercial functions to meet commercial objectives.
• Organize, coordinate, and oversee broader commercial team activities, including sales, marketing, finance, and other functions.
• Recognize sales opportunities and represent the company along with its products.
• Define roles, expectations, responsibilities, and timelines in collaboration with the leadership team.
• Act as an internal advocate for customers and leverage internal relationships to achieve business goals.
• Manage contract negotiations, pricing, proposal/bid preparation, customer service, and follow-up.
• Support strategic sales plans and tactics, including annual territory/regional plans and sales forecasting.
• Monitor market, customer, and competitor trends, advising management on the company’s competitive stance.
• Collaborate with APOC US Marketing to identify opportunities and create marketing plans and programs.
• Deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to sales and marketing management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
• Over 7 years of sales or related experience, particularly selling to executive-level decision-makers in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory, medical device, or Point of Care sectors.
• Demonstrated success in strategic account management, value-based solution selling, contract negotiations, and fostering revenue growth within complex healthcare organizations.
• Proficient in building and influencing senior-level relationships.
• Capable of leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
• Skilled at navigating complex customer organizations to develop effective solutions.
• Strong business and financial understanding.
• Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, critical thinking, leadership, and networking abilities.
• Proven track record of sales achievements.
• Must reside within the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in Enterprise Account and IDN sales.
• Preferred: MBA.
