This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Promote the complete range of products from the Abbott Core Laboratory Diagnostics Division to large, intricate strategic named accounts and prospective clients in Florida.
• Oversee strategic customer relationships, focusing on retention, penetration, and acquiring new customers.
• Develop and nurture senior-level relationships to enhance profitable sales while safeguarding existing business.
• Evaluate customer goals, strategies, and needs to pinpoint innovative solutions.
• Generate revenue and close deals through tailored solutions that enhance customer outcomes.
• Research strategic accounts, business landscapes, competitive scenarios, industry trends, and market regulations.
• Manage and negotiate complex, multi-level, multi-stakeholder solution-selling processes from start to finish.
• Create and present account-specific value propositions for Abbott.
• Analyze financial performance metrics of accounts and negotiate contracts for long-term agreements.
• Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for internal customers.
• Formulate multi-year account strategies and lead internal sales teams.
• Organize Abbott's resources, roles, responsibilities, timelines, communications, and execution efforts.
• Sell directly to C-suite and senior executives.
• Manage a varied portfolio of multi-location accounts while driving yearly growth through acquisition and expansion.
• Take ownership of customer P&L and foster profitable growth to meet LRP commitments.
• Travel up to 50% within the assigned territory and to other U.S. locations.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience as a consultative partner/seller managing B2B businesses.
• Proven experience collaborating with executives and C-suites in the fields of healthcare, informatics, communications, technology, or consultancy.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex enterprise deals valued at $1 million or more.
• Capacity to cultivate long-term strategic relationships at the senior level.
• Ability to uncover organizational strategic plans and convert them into effective solutions.
• Relevant qualifications and credentials in healthcare, technology, or consultancy.
• Proficiency in value-based and solution selling methodologies.
• Capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, including public speaking.
• Executive-level business and financial understanding.
• Excellent team leadership, negotiation, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills, both internally and externally.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% in the assigned territory and other U.S. locations.
• Preferred: advanced degree (MBA).
• Preferred: 7+ years of experience in developing and selling customized solutions to senior-level/C-suite executives in healthcare organizations.
• Preferred: 7+ years of experience in understanding performance metrics in hospital or laboratory environments.
• Preferred: familiarity with the diagnostics industry.
