This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Assist GitLab’s strategic prospects and clients in the Singapore Market, particularly within the financial services sector, by managing the complete sales cycle for large and enterprise accounts.
• Drive account strategy by creating and implementing account plans that align with each customer's business requirements and long-term objectives.
• Engage in prospecting and opportunity development activities within designated large and strategic accounts, collaborating closely with strategic channel partners to generate qualified leads and acquire new customers.
• Oversee pre- and post-sales engagement alongside solutions architects, customer success, and support teams to facilitate successful implementation, adoption, and expansion of GitLab products.
• Deliver clear account leadership, including regular updates on activity, pipeline, and forecast reporting to sales management.
• Evaluate wins and losses, contribute to root cause analysis, and share insights with account managers, marketing, and technical teams to enhance future results.
• Represent the customer’s voice by providing feedback and product suggestions through GitLab’s public issue tracker and internal communication channels.
• Employ a consultative sales method to identify business challenges, shape solution recommendations, and present persuasive proposals, quotes, and presentations that meet customer expectations.
• Experience in managing intricate sales cycles with large, strategic enterprise clients, preferably within Financial Services institutions.
• Demonstrated capability to prospect, qualify, and cultivate new opportunities while also expanding existing accounts through effective account management.
• Expertise in leading pre- and post-sales initiatives, coordinating with technical, support, and channel partners to promote adoption and growth.
• Proficient in consultative selling, including identifying business needs, crafting account plans, and delivering proposals and presentations that align GitLab solutions with customer outcomes.
• Ability to prepare and maintain precise activity, pipeline, and forecast reports, as well as contribute to win/loss and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to share customer insights and lessons learned with sales management, product, marketing, and technical teams.
• Familiarity with software development concepts and tools, preferably with exposure to Git, software development tools, or application lifecycle management.
