Enrolled Agent – Revenue Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Liaise with and supply documentation to designated Revenue Officers.

• Examine client documentation prior to submission to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare and finalize financial packets for clients, which include resolution proposals.

• Engage daily with RO Case Advocates to facilitate timely case progress.

• Negotiate feasible resolution options with Revenue Officers while emphasizing client advocacy.

• Conduct occasional compliance calls to gather missing RO contact information.

• Represent clients in discussions with the IRS, including addressing notices, appeals, and disputes.

• Assist clients through IRS collection procedures such as levies, liens, and garnishments.

• Keep updated on IRS regulations, tax laws, and resolution alternatives.

• Offer continuous client support and guidance to ensure compliance and prevent future IRS issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Enrolled Agent License or CPA (Required).

• Active PTIN (Required).

• Established E-services account on IRS.gov (Required).

• Over 1 year of experience in setting up resolutions with ACS or Revenue Officers (Required).

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Capacity to effectively manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

• Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, IRS procedures, and tax resolution methods.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and time management capabilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Solid understanding of financials and financial documentation.
