Engineering Manager, Supply Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Supply Operations engineering team at Lime, a global leader in shared micromobility.

• Guide and nurture mobile and backend engineers, including senior technical leaders.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, Security, and other engineering teams to establish strategy and execute the roadmap.

• Manage the comprehensive delivery of intricate initiatives across mobile, backend, and web systems.

• Engage in technical design decision-making.

• Promote engineering quality, reliability, and operational excellence.

• Develop and empower technical leaders while establishing clear ownership.

• Assess team impact and set clear expectations and objectives.

• Collaborate with leadership on staffing and organizational priorities.

• Foster an environment where engineers take ownership of complex problems from product definition to implementation and rollout.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including considerable expertise in technical leadership and people management.

• Proven experience in managing and developing teams of senior engineers and technical leads.

• Strong technical expertise in mobile, backend, or full-stack product engineering.

• Demonstrated history of leading complex products or projects from start to finish across various technical domains.

• A solid track record of collaborating with cross-functional partners and influencing strategy in uncertain environments.

• Proven experience in recruiting, coaching, and managing technical teams, including performance management.

• Experience in participating in a shared on-call rotation.

• Candidates must live in and work remotely from the United States.

• Preferred: Experience in leading teams that cover both mobile and backend engineering.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Android/iOS development and mobile release processes.

• Preferred: Background in building internal tools, operational platforms, logistics, or workforce products.

• Preferred: Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams.

• Preferred: Knowledge in mobile security, authentication, or device integrity.
