This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recruit and onboard more than 3 exceptional mobile engineers.
• Build and enhance a high-performing team across iOS, Android, and cross-platform domains.
• Lead the development of mobile roadmaps for both employee and company-admin product areas.
• Offer technical guidance on mobile architecture, device fragmentation, and AI-enhanced engineering tools.
• Oversee release engineering practices, pipeline management, build approvals, staged App Store and Google Play rollouts, feature flags, automated PR testing, and cross-device QA.
• Collaborate with product management, UX design, operations, and backend teams regarding API contracts, backend-driven UI, security measures, and release timelines.
• Create and sustain mobile observability utilizing tools like Braze, Sentry, or Datadog.
• Mentor the team while defining mobile engineering processes, architecture, pipelines, release protocols, QA infrastructure, and telemetry.
• Take ownership of outcomes such as app store ratings, crash-free sessions, release governance, and dependable app delivery.
• Over 5 years of experience in leading software engineering teams, particularly in mobile application delivery.
• Demonstrated success in deploying production iOS, Android, or cross-platform applications using React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Multiplatform across various store release cycles.
• Familiarity with mobile release operations, store submission guidelines, and management of feature flags.
• Extensive technical knowledge in mobile software engineering, including Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Insight into mobile architecture trade-offs, device farms, automated UI testing with XCUITest, Espresso, or Appium, client-side telemetry, and API contract design.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, mentorship capabilities, and experience in creating healthy, inclusive work environments.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
