This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• You will oversee a team dedicated to developing, scaling, and refining the machine learning infrastructure that supports Recursion's drug discovery platform.

• The ML infrastructure team is tasked with creating and managing platforms that enable data scientists and ML engineers to train, deploy, and monitor models across Recursion's extensive datasets.

• You will collaborate closely with researchers and ML engineers to assess their infrastructure requirements and create scalable solutions for model development, training, and deployment.

• Serve as a mentor, coach, and advocate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a hands-on technical position as a tech lead or manager with an emphasis on infrastructure, MLOps, and distributed systems.

• A people-centric approach.

• A demonstrated history of learning from and teaching colleagues in the domains of ML infrastructure, model deployment, distributed computing, GPU optimization, and MLOps system architecture.

• Enthusiasm for learning aspects of our ML technology stack that you may not already be familiar with.

• Familiarity with life sciences or drug discovery is advantageous but not essential for consideration.
