This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the complete full-stack Growth Pod and report directly to the VP of Engineering.
• Take ownership of the team's health, development, roadmap, culture, and processes.
• Design an ambitious product roadmap and take charge of execution.
• Oversee a team consisting of four full-stack engineers, a product manager, a designer, and a data scientist.
• Create experiences that assist clients in discovering Atticus and understanding its benefits during a crisis.
• Work on a fast-paced experimentation cycle.
• Experiment with new ideas and make product decisions based on data analysis.
• Foster the growth of team members' careers and mentor their technical efforts.
• Remain engaged in daily technical tasks.
• Review pull requests and provide input on architectural decisions.
• Write code and delve into technical specifics alongside colleagues.
• Ensure the quality of the outputs delivered by the team.
• Have managed a team of at least three engineers for over one year.
• Demonstrated experience in developing engineers, including both senior individual contributors and those early in their careers.
• Capable of conducting challenging performance discussions when expectations are not fulfilled.
• Experience in a high-performing product organization with proficient product managers and designers.
• Familiarity with engineering accountability for product results.
• Experience working with ambiguity and limited resources, either in a startup environment or within a larger corporation.
• Significant use of AI coding tools in personal projects over the past year.
• Hands-on experience with coding and conducting code reviews.
• Technical insights on system architecture.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, experiment design, and rapid iterative product development focused on growth (preferred).
• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Next.js, Temporal, or GCP (preferred).
• Experience in legal, healthcare, financial services, or any sector with intricate professional workflows (preferred).
