Engineering Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor engineering personnel to cultivate a high-performing team.

• Enhance building operations through integrated facilities management and engineering expertise.

• Create and uphold a strategic plan for the engineering team.

• Oversee the service center, security, data management, and EHS teams.

• Recognize and address potential risks to client facilities.

• Implement and oversee computerized maintenance management systems.

• Manage the JLL Engineering Services Compliance Program.

• Design and execute training programs based on skills assessments and safety protocols.

• Supervise the creation and execution of energy management initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, engineering technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 10 years of direct supervisory experience in multi-building operations.

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems in commercial and critical facilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong organizational abilities and a collaborative management approach.

• Experience with energy management and efficiency initiatives is preferred.

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems is preferred.

• Understanding of environmental health and safety regulations is preferred.

• Experience in developing and implementing standard processes for utility consumption reporting is preferred.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
